FAQ
How do adjust ClipMiC input gain on iOS?
ClipMiC gain can be controlled either by the Maestro App, or MetaRecorder App, found in the App Store. Cannot be adjusted from your iPhone’s native camera application.
Does ClipMic work with iPhone/iPad?
Yes, ClipMic will work with iOS, Mac, and Windows.
How do I get the cleanest, clearest sound from ClipMic?
We generally want the ClipMic about 25 cm (or 10″) from the mouth of the wearer. While this can vary from case to case, this is the ideal starting place for setting gain level, and capturing crystal-clear audio.
Do I need headphones to avoid feedback with the ClipMic?
The ClipMic Digital 2 does NOT require headphones when using conferencing apps. Unlike other microphones, ClipMic will not feedback when using it in conjunction with your built-in speakers!
