Apogee Quartet – Device Settings Overview
In this tutorial we will go over the Device settings page in Maestro.
Starting at the top you have “Meter Mode”
Peak Hold allows you to set how long you would like to see the last audio peak….
OFF, 2 seconds, or Infinite.
If set to infinite, it will not clear until you use the “clear Meters” button or change Peak hold to either off or 2 seconds.
“Over hold” lets you know if you went over into digital clipping. and has the same settings as “Peak Hold”
“Touchpad Assignment” allows you to set custom settings for the A,B, and, C Touchpads… And is also where you would assign Speaker sets when using multiple sets of speakers with Quartet.
“Encoder assignment” allows you to set Quartet’s encoder to mute just Speakers, just headphones, or all Outputs at once.
“Lock home view” When Lock Home view is On, the OLED display doesn’t jump to the Detail view when the Controller knob is turned. If Lock Home view is Off, the OLED display shows details for the selected input or output when the Controller knob is turned.
