Joe Barresi has recorded some incredible sounding records, and is known for amazing guitar tone. You can hear his work on Tool 10,000 days, Judas Priest, Angel of Retribution, multiple albums from Queens of the Stoneage, Bad Religion, Clutch, and the Melvins just to name a few. So when it was time to record heavy rock guitar with Symphony I/O and it’s mic preamp module… We couldn’t think of anyone more fitting than Joe Barresi.
Not only has Joe recorded some really great guitar tones in his career, but his collection of guitar amps, guitars, and pedals would make any guitar player weep with joy… not to mention the incredible recording studio and collection of Mic Preamps that would be the envy of any recording engineer.
