Media & Sales Specialist

Apogee Electronics is a leading designer and manufacturer of products for audio recording in the music, film, digital streaming, and voice-over industries. The Media and Sales Specialist at Apogee Electronics has the opportunity to use their knowledge and experience in sales and digital media to create strategies that will boost consumer engagement and product sales. They will work closely with our sales and marketing team and contribute fresh ideas and new ways of working with modern day media and sales applications. 

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years in a professional sales role or a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field

  • 1-3 years in a B2B channel sales environment, music hardware, broadcast or consumer

  • Basic understanding of electronics experience 

  • Sales forecasting experience

  • Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central 

  • Customer focused 

  • Flexible and able to thrive and adapt to constantly changing environments

  • Highly organized, great time management skills, excellent communication skills

Responsibilities 

  • Working with Apple and Windows technology, interface protocols, hardware and software. 

  • Navigate DAWs such as Logic Pro X, Garageband, Pro Tools, Ableton LIve, and Cubase to aid in creating content for Apogee

  • Working knowledge of modern social media apps Zoom, Instagram, FaceBook, Tiktok, Twitter, Twitch and doing research on how they can contribute to Apogee

  • Working knowledge of multichannel audio for video workflows, Final Cut, Adobe to aid in creating content for Apogee

  • Working in a professional audio recording studio environment

  • Using Microsoft Office and Google Suite to automate and organize media and sales data

  • Use knowledge and background of professional audio systems including recording, live sound and broadcast, post production to bring fresh ideas to the team 

  • Use content creation tools such as Facebook Ad Manager and sales tools such as Amazon Seller to monitor trends

Software Engineer

Music and technology go hand in hand. As a Software Engineer with Apogee Electronics, you will have the opportunity to work first hand with the software and hardware that make award winning music. The Software Engineer will work with a cohort of talented and creative programmers who are self-motivated, innovative, and detail oriented. Ideally you will write clean and modern C++ code, amongst working with other programming languages. 

Requirements

  • 4+ years professional experience in software development

  • Strong C++ skills

  • Experience in OS X and Windows development

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Forge and map out our roadmap and codebase evolutions.

  • Work on cross-platform background and UI processes involved in controlling Apogee hardware as well as plugins and interactions between them such as our Dual-Path technology

  • Work on Apogee iOS audio applications

  • Work on Apogee’s plugin products

  • Work on exciting new technologies

  • Work with programs such as JUICE and embedded Linux

  • Ability to create simple graphics for social media and web content using Adobe apps, Canva, Figma or similar

  • Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and copy editing

  • Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills
