Sales Specialist

The Sales Specialist position will be a member of a team responsible for Apogee’s relationship with distributors, retailers,  and high- profile end-users and is tasked with providing growth and positive customer experiences. You will be required to identify, prospect, and acquire new end-user business by developing the indirect channel.  The Sales Associate will play a key role in expanding Apogee’s brand recognition, market share, and e-commerce strategy.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years in a professional sales role (Apple retail experience a plus)

  • 1-3 years in a B2B channel sales environment, music hardware, broadcast or consumer

  • Electronics experience preferred

  • Sales forecasting experience

Music and technology go hand in hand. As a Software Engineer with Apogee Electronics, you will have the opportunity to work first hand with the software and hardware that make award winning music. The Software Engineer will work with a cohort of talented and creative programmers who are self-motivated, innovative, and detail oriented. Requirements

Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer

 

Apogee Electronics is looking for a firmware/software engineer with a strong background in embedded Linux real-time driver, kernel and application development. Experience in Xenomai or other realtime platforms highly desirable.

You will play a meaningful role in the development of Apogee’s next generation products, working closely with hardware and software designers as part of a small and agile design team.

You will help develop a real time audio platform on Linux, assist in board bringup of custom hardware, and help develop prototypes in order to prove key design concepts and identify technical constraints up front. You will work with audio application developers on the performance of the drivers and overall system, as well as hardware engineers on the hardware peripherals and physical interfaces on custom hardware designs.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years professional experience in software development and embedded systems engineering

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering

  • Must have strong Linux kernel/driver level development experience

  • Strong C and C++ background

  • Understand optimizations and design trade-offs needed for real-time development

  • Experience with ARM and developing for SOC devices, Altera SOCs a plus

  • Low level programming of peripherals and interfaces, and experience with a variety of embedded MCU devices and toolsets desirable

DSP Firmware Engineer

As a Senior DSP Firmware Engineer, this individual will be a core member of our Development Team working with the software and analog hardware teams.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage DSP tasks/ initiatives in the analysis, design, development and delivery of software solutions as an individual contribute with advanced knowledge within discipline

  • Work closely with systems engineers to design and implement DSP algorithms to meet constraints for latency, memory size, and power consumption

  • Implement DSP firmware to map high-level algorithms from Matlab/C to architecture-specific code, utilizing features such as SIMD, vector processing, assembly code, and caches

  • Analyze system performance to identify areas for optimization and inform chip architectural designs such as core selection, hardware accelerators, or custom instruction sets.

  • Experience working with USB Audio class drivers, Thunderbolt drivers and iOS protocol.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science

  • +5 years of DSP firmware development 

  • Strong background in embedded software development using C/C++ and assembly languages.

Senior Accountant - Part-Time

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


The Accountant will ensure the purchase orders and sales order entries are performed accurately and timely.


Monthly Financial Closing, Reporting and GL Maintenance

  • Ensure the monthly closing process is complete on time including preparing account reconciliations and analysis, closing schedules, and producing financial statements.

  • Preparation of the monthly and quarterly board package submitted to the CEO.

  • Provide a monthly analytical review of the unusual revenue and expense transactions and appropriate accounting treatment.

  • Prepare analysis and explanation of notable fluctuation in current month’s operating expenses versus prior month/prior year/budget.

  • Maintain monthly reconciliation schedules, including accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and depreciation.

  • Review general ledger activities and balances; prepare monthly account analysis and recompilation.

  • Ensure physical & book inventory match or detail variance

  • Review increasing expenses (example: shipping)


Maintain Well-Documented Accounting Policies in Accordance with GAAP; create and improve existing Standard Operating Procedures

In-Bound Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a inbound marketing specialist who will help plan and run digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels. You’ll help create marketing funnels and email drip campaigns that increase leads and provide valuable content to our existing customer database. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Write various marketing material for our blog, newsletter, and social media content. 

  • Set up email drip campaigns for our different audiences and monitor conversion. 

  • Brainstorm new inbound funnels based on target audience and topics of interest

  • Set up & monitor digital advertising campaigns for a variety of products

  • Improve SEO and website ranking based on keyword research 

  • Support marketing department with creation of assets.

 

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing role with a focus on inbound marketing.

  • Proven track record of adjusting digital marketing campaigns to increase conversion or sales. 

  • Proficient with Google Analytics
