  • May get erroneous message that firmware needs updating, even though unit already on correct version
  • DAWs won’t fully load on launch if iLok License Manager software is not present on system or on latest version
  • After restarting computer, may have to unplug then reconnect Thunderbolt cable before unit is recognized
  • When waking from sleep or hibernate mode, unit may not be recognized until full restart of the computer
  • After installing, may not get the “Allow” button to appear in Mac System Preferences > Security & Privacy and thus driver will not be allowed to work
  • If migrate settings from previous system, or restore from Time Machine backup, old system files and features can conflict and cause recognition issues, audio performance issues (pops, glitches, dropouts), and variety of other issues
  • Saved User Snapshots may not load, or Control app may randomly revert to default values
