On December 11th, 2016, we had the honor of hosting Beats By Girlz event “Voices of the Community” to celebrate inspiring women working in music technology! Thank you to Karrie Keyes, RYAT and Alluxe and Erin Barra for supporting the growing community of women in music.

Beats By Girlzis a non-traditional, creative and educational recording-arts campaign designed by Associate Professor at The Berklee College of Music, Erin Barra

Designed to empower females to engage with music technology and build communities. Beats by Girlz provides young women with the guidance, access, tools and role-support to develop their interest (and ultimately their ability to pursue career opportunities) in music production, composition, engineering, etc. Beats by Girlz along with their supporters are working towards gender equity in a field where women are highly underrepresented and strive to help other groups mobilize and create similar change in their own communities
